A banned account is one we've decided to permanently remove from CashCow. Bans are final and aren't reversed.
We know this is hard to read. Here's what's true and what your options are.
Why accounts are banned
A few things that can lead to a ban:
- Use of VPNs, proxies, or emulators to bypass restrictions.
- Multiple accounts (each person and household is one account).
- Failure to complete or pass account verification.
- Activity flagged by one of our partners as not in good standing.
- Repeated or serious breaches of our Terms of Use.
We can't always share the specific reason for an individual ban. The decision is based on the full picture of activity on the account.
Is there an appeal?
Bans are final. There isn't a separate appeal process for a ban.
If your account was suspended first and then banned after an appeal, that appeal was your one review. We don't open second reviews of the same decision.
What about my balance?
A confirmed ban results in any unredeemed balance being forfeited. This is part of our Terms of Use.
If you had a redemption link delivered before the ban took effect, that link is still valid; the rest is on the payout side (PayPal, gift card provider, etc.).
Can I make a new account?
No. Creating a new account after a ban is itself against our Terms and will result in the new account being banned as well.
Final notes
If you have a question about your data (a copy of what we hold, or a deletion request under GDPR or CCPA), email support@cashcow.com with "Data request" as the subject line. We'll handle that separately.
For everything else, we appreciate your time on the platform and we're sorry we couldn't keep working together.
