If you change your device, whether due to loss, theft, damage, or an upgrade, you will not be able to continue your previous game progress on the new device. Progress made on a previous device cannot be restored or transferred to a new device. To avoid tracking issues, always complete a game on the same device where it was originally installed and started.
Why Does This Happen?
Game progress is tracked and linked to the original device used to start the game. When you switch to a different device:
- Your previous progress does not transfer.
- Milestones completed on the old device cannot be resumed.
- You must start new games on the new device.
This applies even if:
- Your previous device was stolen.
- You upgraded to a new phone.
- You are using the same account login on the new device.
What Should I Do If I Get a New Device?
If you begin using a new device, we recommend:
- Starting new games directly on the new device.
- Ensuring tracking permissions are enabled before starting.
- Avoid attempting to continue previously started games.
