Sometimes the app will ask you to verify your ID even if you're not cashing out. It's a routine check that confirms it's you.
We use your selfie and ID only to confirm it's you. Verisoul handles the check, and they're GDPR and CCPA compliant.
What happens
- The app shows a screen asking for an ID and a selfie.
- You take a photo of the front of your ID, then the back, then a quick selfie.
- The selfie is matched against the ID. If the match is good, the check is done.
The whole thing takes about a minute.
What you'll need
- A government-issued ID with a photo (driver's license, passport, state ID, or national ID card).
- A few minutes in good light.
- Your phone's camera.
Why now?
A small number of accounts get a routine check from time to time. We're asking for an ID this time because we don't have one on file yet, and verifying it now makes future cashouts faster.
What if I don't do it?
Some checks let you put it off and come back later. Others ask you to finish before you can keep playing. Either way, your balance and your progress are safe.
If you decline the check entirely, the app may pause some features (like cashout) until you complete it.
Tips
- Use a phone if you can. The check works much better than on a tablet or computer.
- Use the actual physical ID. Photos of an ID on another screen don't work.
- All four corners of the ID need to be visible.
- No glare on the ID. If the laminate is reflecting, tilt slightly.
- For the selfie: no hats, sunglasses, or face coverings, and look directly at the camera.
If the screen keeps asking you to fix your lighting or pose, Verisoul's tips page walks through what helps.
What about my information?
Your ID and selfie go directly to our verification partner Verisoul. We don't see or store images of your ID. Verisoul tells us only whether the check passed.
