Sometimes the app will ask you to take a quick selfie even if you're not cashing out. It's a routine check that confirms it's you.
We use your selfie only to confirm it's you. Verisoul handles the check, and they're GDPR and CCPA compliant.
What happens
- The app shows a screen asking you to take a selfie.
- The selfie is matched against the ID you already have on file.
- If the match is good, the check is done. The whole thing takes about ten seconds.
Why now?
A small number of accounts get a routine check from time to time. We're asking for a selfie because you've already verified your ID with us, so a quick face match is all we need.
What if I don't do it?
Some checks let you put it off and come back later. Others ask you to finish before you can keep playing. Either way, your balance and your progress are safe.
If you decline the check entirely, the app may pause some features (like cashout) until you complete it.
Tips for the selfie
- Use a phone if you can. The check works much better than on a tablet or computer.
- Good light. Daylight or a well-lit room works best.
- No hats, sunglasses, or face coverings.
- Look directly at the camera.
- Keep the phone steady.
If the screen keeps asking you to fix your lighting or pose, Verisoul's tips page walks through what helps.
What about my information?
Your selfie goes directly to our verification partner Verisoul. Verisoul tells us only whether the check passed. Your balance stays safe whether the check passes or not.
