It depends on whether the payment was claimed.
If the payment is unclaimed
PayPal holds unclaimed payments for 30 days. After that, the funds are automatically returned to CashCow and your balance is restored. We can't cancel the payment ourselves PayPal controls the timeline.
If the payment was claimed
If the owner of the incorrect email claimed the funds, we can't recover or reverse the payment. Always double-check your PayPal email before confirming a withdrawal.
If the wrong email belongs to you
If you accidentally sent to a different email you own, you can add it to your PayPal account to access the funds right away no need to wait 30 days:
- Log in to PayPal.
- Go to Settings.
- Under Email, click the + icon.
- Enter the email address and click Add email.
- Check your inbox for a confirmation email and click the verification link.
Once verified, the payment will appear in your PayPal balance automatically.
