How to do it
- Open the message we sent (push or email) and tap the link, or open the app and tap your wallet.
- The verify screen will guide you through the selfie capture.
- Hold your phone at eye level, fill the frame with your face, and follow the on-screen prompts.
After the selfie
If everything matches, we run one more quick check and send the money. Most clear within a few minutes and you'll get the redemption link by email.
If the check doesn't pass on the first try, you'll get one more chance. If it doesn't pass on the second try either, the cashout will come back as not cleared this time.
If you can't take a selfie right now
You can return to the verify screen later from the wallet. Your cashout will wait for you.
Tips for the selfie
- Use a phone if you can. The check works much better than on a tablet or computer.
- Good light. Daylight or a well-lit room works best.
- No hats, sunglasses, or face coverings.
- Look directly at the camera.
- Keep the phone steady.
